This is my go to pet store! It’s clean, well organized, and always well stocked. The women who work there are the best and the blonde woman with glasses (sorry, I am not sure of your name at the moment) needs a raise! Best pet store in town.

Consistently the best shop for pet food and treats in New Orleans. Inviting and friendly!! Good prices and shopping reward coupons. They also have some garden supplies and plants. Great location and excellent service!!

It’s really uncanny how knowledgeable the workers are at this Jefferson Feed location. Not just about pet related products either. They know a lot about plants as well. I’m very loyal to this place.

I visited this location today in an emergency search for some carnivorous plant soil and Jack helped me SO much!! They knew exactly what I needed to get and had a wealth of knowledge even if their store couldn’t supply everything. Big shout out to them!

I'm a first time cat owner and didn't know which products were best for my cat, but Jack helped me pick out the right supplies. He knew exactly where everything was, and he even helped me stay within budget while still picking the the best products for my cat! He was super knowledgeable and very friendly. If you're in Mid-City and looking for advice on cat products, I'd definitely recommend talking with Jack!

Jefferson Feed Mid-City literally saved my and my puppies' lives! I traveled from NYC to adopt two beautiful puppies in New Orleans from Take Paws Rescue (also wonderful!). On my brother's recommendation, we went straight to Jefferson Feed Mid-City for supplies the moment after I picked them up. On the way there, they were (understandably) terrified and had accidents in the car. They then proceeded to be more terrified as we got to the parking lot and I brought them into the store. They were filthy and covered with all kinds of horrible things, and I don't know what I'm doing, so they ran out of their leashes and were truly creating a disaster across the store. A very kind associate working there scooped up the puppies and put them in a shopping cart for me and consoled them with treats while I explained I had no idea what I was doing (I also meant to only get one puppy but here we are). She helped me go all over the store picking out wonderful toys, food, bowls, cushions, and everything they would need for our multi-day drive back to NYC. And they have a DIY grooming area and when I went back there with the pups it was obvious I didn't know what I was doing, and this wonderful person from Jefferson Feed rolled up her sleeves and helped me wash and dry them both, explaining how to do it the whole time. I honestly wanted to weep with gratitude, and still do just thinking about it! She easily spent an hour with us and I will never forget it. We still buy the food she recommended, and use all the supplies. The toys she suggested also truly remain my puppies' favorites many months out. Thank you SO much. Everyone go to Jefferson Feed Mid-City!! What a heartwarming experience to encounter such kindness in the world. Thank you, truly.

I am so grateful that I am able to conveniently buy my cat’s food here. The folks working here are SO. NICE. They always remember my name and my special orders, they were so helpful and understanding while I kept changing my orders due to concerns with bird flu (my cat eats a raw diet), and I honestly always leave smiling because of how friendly and thoughtful they are. The fact that I live close enough to this store, and that I am able to feed my Lula only the best with their help, is seriously such a positive in my life. Thank you to all of yall at Jefferson Feed, me and Lula love you!!
